About Voltaire

Voltaire was a renowned Dutch Warmblood stallion foaled in 1979, celebrated for his exceptional jumping ability and widespread influence as a sire. With top bloodlines—Furioso II on the sire side and Gotthard on the dam side—he competed successfully in 1.50 m Grand Prix and Nations Cup events across Europe. Transitioning to stud, he became a keystone stallion, producing dozens of approved sons and international-calibre jumpers, dressage stars, and hunters. Voltaire sired more Olympic offspring than any other stallion in the 1996 Games, and enjoyed prolonged success in both the KWPN Jumping Index and American hunter scene, cementing his status as a breeding legend.
