About Vivint De Heffnck
Vivant van de Heffinck (born 1998) was a bay warmblood stallion standing about 1.71 m, bred in Belgium. He was by Fuego du Prelet out of a mare by Landino, and carried a higher percentage of blood than many show‑jumping stallions, which contributed to his agility, scope and rideability. After a successful international show‑jumping career, he moved into breeding and stood in Ireland, offering both fresh and frozen semen to international clients.
Achievements
Competed at the highest levels of show‑jumping: he participated in the 2010 World Equestrian Games, finished 7th in the 2010 World Cup Finals, jumped for the Olympic team of Ukraine in 2012, and attained an 8th place individual at the 2014 World Championships.
Sold to an Irish stud (Coolballyshan) in 2017 for his breeding career, thereby extending his influence across Europe and beyond.
As a sire his offspring have excelled: some are jumping at 1.60m Grand Prix level, others are competing in eventing and international classes, demonstrating the versatility he passed on.
Consistently ranked among the top jumping stallions worldwide in sire listings for performance and progeny success.
Known for transmitting the combination of blood, athleticism, careful technique over the fences and a willing temperament — traits highly valued in modern breeding programmes.
